Personal data and audience measurement

Who is responsible?

The Sandbox Talk Show team is responsible for the processing described here. For questions or to exercise your rights, write to sandbox.podcast.pro@gmail.com.

Your choice

Audience measurement relies on your consent. Accept and reject are offered at the same level. The site remains accessible if you reject. No measurement script loads before you agree.

Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage for 180 days, whether you accept or reject. You are then asked again. Clearing this storage or changing browsers also requires a new choice.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the preferences below or the button at the bottom of each page. Withdrawal stops new transmissions and deletes GA4 cookies accessible to the site. It does not automatically delete events already received.

What is measured after consent

Google Analytics 4 measures visited pages and useful actions, such as opening the player or a resource. Events may include the page path, title, referring site, date, device type, browser and approximate location. Search parameters and URL fragments are removed from our transmissions; our events send no name, email address or text entered in search.

GA4 uses _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits. They last up to 180 days without automatic renewal. Event data retention in our GA4 property is intended to be 14 months; the effective setting must be checked before activation. Under Google's rules, this period does not apply in the same way to aggregated reports.

Vercel Web Analytics also produces traffic statistics. Vercel states that it uses no cookies for this service and discards the identifier calculated to distinguish visits within 24 hours. Aggregated statistics remain available for 1 to 24 months depending on the Vercel plan. Our transmissions exclude URL parameters and the administration area.

We disable Google signals and ad personalization in the site's tag. Our events send no user ID or account data.

Vercel Speed Insights also measures page loading times, responsiveness and visual stability. It follows the same consent choice. URL parameters and the administration area are excluded from the data we send.

Providers and external services

Google and Vercel receive the data needed for their measurement services. Processing may take place outside the European Union. Their policies describe processing locations, recipients and transfer safeguards. You can reject these services or withdraw consent.

The YouTube player loads when you request episode playback. YouTube may then receive your IP address and playback information under its own rules. The site's measurement choice does not replace your YouTube account settings. Links to other platforms take you to their services.

Hosting processes the network requests needed to display and secure the site. Display preferences and any favorites are stored in your browser to provide the requested features; they do not activate audience measurement.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your data, and portability where this right applies. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Contact the team at the address above and describe your request, without sending identity documents unsolicited.

You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL. Contact the CNIL (new tab)
